December 2009 Winner - Mercer Transportation

Craig Graves won with his shiny, reliable 2002 Peterbilt. Graves, who has been with Mercer for 15 years, started driving the Pete in '05. Since then it has served him well, until a series of unfortunate events in '09: He underwent an impromptu engine overhaul recently, followed by a hit & run accident shortly after he submitted his truck in this contest. On the bright side, repairing the damages is also allowing him the opportunity to spruce up his ride. Graves plans to add custom fenders, opt for a new metallic blue paint scheme and add an American Eagle bumper. Graves' Peterbilt is a 379 model with an extended hood, C15 Cat engine and 18 speed transmission.

December 2009 Winner - "The Best of the Rest"

In the "Best of the Rest" category, Ty Kielstra won with his 2007 Peterbilt, named "Black Magic." Kielstra runs curtain-side freight, often local LTL's, in Alberta, Canada. This Peterbilt 379 features a 475 Cat engine with an Air Ride front axle. The stylish black and blue paint scheme sets off the shiny trailer and chrome stacks. You definitely could not miss this big rig on the road.
